Rodney Sockwell Charged With Robbery, Battery, False Imprisonment

On January 27, 2022 at approximately 12:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Rodney Sockwell, 55, of Prescott, AR. He was charged with robbery, battery in the 2nd degree, false imprisonment in the 2nd degree, interference with emergency communications in the 1st degree and engaging in violent criminal group activity. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope, AR. Sockwell was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
