Hempstead County Bicentennial Committee Unveils Plaque In Washington

A new plaque was unveiled at the Farmers Market Pavilion in Washington Tuesday.  The marker was one of 15 commissioned by the Hempstead County Bicentennial Committee.  The new marker provides a brief history of the town.
