UAHT Hosts Black History Month Program

UAHT hosted a special community “Black History Month” celebration entitled “Commemorating Our Hidden Past, Celebration Our Empowered Future” at Hempstead Hall Tuesday.  A highlight of the program were remarks from State Senator Linda Chesterfield who spoke on the life of local hero Dorothy McFadden Hoover.  Senator Chesterfield represents Senate District 30 in central Arkansas but grew up in Hope.  Pictured are Sen.
