Rose PPD spotlight of week
PRESCOTT – Tammie Rose has lived in Nevada County for more than25 years.
Tammie was born in Texarkana and was raised in Dallas, Texas. Since moving to Nevada County in December of 1996, she has worked mostly in Prescott.
Tammie began working for the Prescott Police Department in December 2020. Prior to that, Tammie was the Community Development Director at the Prescott – Nevada County Economic Development Office for more than eight years, where she assisted the Economic Development Director.
Tammie has a great love for this community. Tammie is a member of the Prescott Kiwanis Club, where she served as President from 2019-2021. Tammie is also is a graduate of Leadership Nevada County Class of 2007. She continues to serve on the Leadership Board of Directors and is also a facilitator of that organization.
Tammie is a 2018 graduate of Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. Tammie is married to Ron. They have 5 kids and 2 grandkids with a 3rd on the way soon.
