Hope Kiwanis Club Hears Program From Anna Powell of UAHT Foundation

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Anna Powell of the UAHT Foundation on Tuesday March 22nd.  Powell gave an update on the recent “BBB” fundraiser.  She noted the event raises money for Kid’s College at UAHT and raised about $35,000.  Over 200 people turned out for the event which was held in Prescott this year.

Powell noted the 29th annual fish fry is set for April 21st at the college.  This year will see a return to “eat in” meals in addition to “to go” meals.  The Lions Club will prepare the fish.

Powell also talked about the James Black Bowie Heritage Festival set for April 23rd in Washington.
