D.B. “Jack” Hart

Darius Bradford “Jack” Hart, 92, of Irving, died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his home in Irving.  Born July 27, 1930 in Rosston, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Olen Hart and Alice Gertine Luck Hart.  He was an engineer in several area projects including Love Field, and the Dallas Theatre Center.  He married Vaund Lee O’Steen April 19, 1949.  She preceded him in death October 15, 2020.  He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church of Irving.

Preceded in death by his wife Vaund Lee and a brother, Darrell Hart, he is survived by two sons, Phillip Hart of Irving and Dewayne Hart and wife Pam of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren, Christina, Jeremy, Jon, Kendra, and Abby; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter all living in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and New Mexico.

Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. Irving under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. Pastor Ron Ely will officiate.
