Halbert Cox

Mr. Halbert “Buddy” Cox, age 75 of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away Monday May 30, 2022, in Texarkana, Texas.

Buddy was born September 5, 1946 in Hope, AR to Noah and Edna Olds Cox.

Buddy was a retired mechanic for Anthony Timber and a Vietnam Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his wife of 56 years Jeannie Saunders Cox; two daughters Tracie Horneman (Renzie) and Missy Cox (David) of Blevins; a brother Don Cox of Dallas, TX; three sisters Barbara Burns of Springhill, Joan Lively of Cross Roads, and Betty Sue Lee of Springhill; two grandchildren Racie Poindexter (Erik) and Payton “Pac-Man” Poindexter; three great grandchildren Christian Valdez, Alec Valdez, and Maverick Poindexter; special family members Zac, Mikala and Dillon Saunders, Jewell Poindexter, and Lilli Sanders; lots of nieces and nephews he thought a lot of.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday June 3, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main St, Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on  Friday June 3, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery with Army military honors.
