Hope Public Schools Receives Federal Magnet Schools Assistance Grant

The Hope School District has big news!  David Henderson of HPS shared this with us today….
  • Hope Public Schools was recently awarded the ONLY Federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program grant in the state of Arkansas!
  • The $15 Million grant transforms each campus into a magnet school and the district into a magnet district.
  • The 5-year grant will add a multitude of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) curricula to all students, from Pre-K through graduation.
  • In the plan, ALL students in the district would reach graduation with either an associates degree, substantial college hours, or a trade certification.

District Superintendent Dr. Crossley says, “Our goal is to make Hope Public Schools the premiere destination for education in Arkansas. The Magnet Grant provides a comprehensive approach to transforming education in Hope for students and families.”
