Giving Tree applications sought

PRESCOTT – Once again, the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce will  have its Giving Tree program for the holidays.

The event is to help those in need get clothes and essentials for their school-aged children during the Christmas season.

Registration is Nov. 1-7, and must be done in person at the Chamber office. The Giving Tree will be assisting 20 families this year. Other applications will be shared with various organizations also looking to help during the holiday season.

Those looking to help can visit the Chamber Nov. 11-22 and select a giving tag. From there, purchase the clothes or essentials needed for the child(ren) and return them to the Chamber office no later than Dec. 5.
