Addie Joubert

Addie Louise Trigg Joubert, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on Friday January 27, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Addie was born on September 11, 1935, to George (Bert) and Mary Trigg in Seminary, Mississippi, immediately bringing joy and laughter into the world. Addie went on to graduate from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon, in 1954. On November 24, 1956, she married John Fredrick Joubert and they were married for 42 years and had two big boys, Scot Fredrick of Green Forest, Arkansas and Todd Cameron of Austin, Texas. She was a proud mother  who always challenged her boys to be better men. Addie spent her career in banking starting with First State Bank in DeQueen, Arkansas and Citizens National Bank in Hope, Arkansas. She had a unique talent for customer relations and took pride in many relationships developed over her career. Addie was an incredible cook, baker, gardener, and loved finding the next obscure antique shop to add to her collection. Addie is preceded in death by her parents Bert and Mary, husband John, brother, Mutt, Albert, Rupert and Curtis.

She is survived by her two sisters, Margaret and Cecil, two sons, Scot (Jerrie) and Todd (Kim); grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Davidson, Guy (Tressa) Joubert, Jackson Joubert and four great grandchildren, Harrison Davison, Callen Davison, Codi Joubert and Big Beau Joubert.

Graveside service will be held 10:00am Friday February 3, 2023, at Memory Gardens Cemetery 2901 West 3rd St. Hope Arkansas 71801. Burial will follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel Director. Online condolences:
