Rowdy Young Riders 4-H Horse Club Holds Awards Dinner

On January 28, 2023, the Hempstead County Rowdy Young Riders 4-H Horse Club held their 2022 Awards Dinner at The Rafter J Cowboy Church in Hope.

42 contestants from several counties and their family attended the awards dinner. Over $18,000.00 in prizes were given to the contestants ages 3 -18. Saddles, Buckles, Saddle Pads, Halters and equine health products were given out.

The 4-H club is led by Lacey Jo Singleton of Hope with volunteers from several other counties. The group holds their horse shows at the Rafter J Cowboy Church Arena located on Highway 29 South.
