Jessie Henson

Jessie Henson, 71, of Prescott, AR passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Mr. Henson was born November 11, 1951 to Frank and Hazel Fulton Henson in Newport, AR. He was a hardworking and good-hearted man who loved his family dearly. He hauled logs for 40 years and in retirement remained in the wood business by cutting firewood.

Mr. Henson is preceded by his parents; daughter, Angela Henson; two sons, Jonathan Crews and Jessie Henson, Jr.; grandson, Ryan Henson; sister, Ida Jane Hatfield; and brother Grady Henson.

Mr. Henson is survived by his wife, Kay Henson; three children, Joseph (Laura) Henson of Hope, Michael Henson of   ,TX, Shane (Alisha) Henson of Emmet, AR; six grandchildren; Matthew, Angel, Payton, Derek, Blake and India Henson; nine great-grandchildren, Holden, Coulter, Westyn, Eden, Lauren, Ja’Maya, Jeremiah, Malayasia, and Malachi; brothers, Paul (Mary Lou) Henson of Blevins, James (Thelma) Henson of Hope, Bunt (Agnes) Henson of Missouri, EJ Henson of El Dorado; sisters, Opal Fulz of Texarkana and Dean Norris of Newport; and many other family and friends.

Visitation is scheduled 1:00-2:00pm Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Prescott. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm with Bro. James McGill officiating. Interment following at Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes-Prescott.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made towards the service to Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
