Ieisha Devan Blake, 30

Ieisha Devan Blake was born on July 22, 1992, to James Blake and Jeanette (Willie) Williamson Purifoy. Ieisha departed this life on March 28, 2023, at Baptist Health Medical Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 30.

Ieisha grew up in and attended school in Prescott, Arkansas. From an early age, she loved, honored, and accepted the Lord. She was employed at Tyson Foods in Hope, Arkansas. She enjoyed her job and often spoke of the joyous times and encounters with co-workers. Ieisha was a devoted mother and she loved her family, especially her son, who she leaves to carry on her legacy.

Ieisha was known for her kind heart, her giving spirit, her contagious smile, and her ongoing sense of humor. You never really knew what she was going to say, but you could always rest assured that it would definitely bring on a good laugh.

Though we all love her so and wish we didn’t have to let her go, we find comfort in knowing that she is now able to be with the One who loves her most.

Ieisha is preceded in death by her grandmother Ella Mae Blake, Laverne Williamson Young, and her aunt Linda Williamson.

Ieisha leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memories: her parents, James and Jeanette (Willie) Williamson Purifoy; her brothers, Jordan (Brandy) Williamson, James S Blake, Montez Blake, Marvin Purifoy, Willie T Purifoy, and Greg Nelson; special aunt, Annette Williamson; special cousins, Brandi Smith, Christopher Smith, and Andre’ Smith; special friend, Jasmine Charles; and a host of many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P. M., on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Prescott, Arkansas. A visitation will be held at the church that afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00 P. M. Her earthly body will be laid to rest in Craven Cemetery in Prescott.
