Area cattlemen feed Arkansas State Police

PRESCOTT – For the third year local and area cattlemen provided lunch for the Arkansas State Police at the Barn at Willow Oaks Acres.
Thursday afternoon saw the cattlemen working the grills, cooking 80 rib eye steaks and hot links, while Chicken Express provided the sides of corn, green beans and mashed potatoes. Brandon Wren said this was done to show the troopers what they do is appreciated. “I’m glad to see this many here,” he said, adding he hoped they didn’t check any warrants while they were there. “We support you guys.”
The troopers were repeatedly told how their service is appreciated by those present.
Once the lunch was over, a meeting was held by the law enforcement present.
