Memory Gardens Cemetery Sets Policy For Items On and Around Graves For Mowing Purposes

MOWING SEASON IS HERE

Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home staff ask that family members clear grave markers, monuments, and mausoleums of all items not in vases.

Mowing season at the cemetery starts April 1 to October 30. Items on the ground such as glass objects, windchimes, rock pavers, fences of any kind, and statues hinder our staff from mowing.

On June 1 staff will collect or discard all items not in vases. Family members will need to pick up any personal items you want to keep.

New burials will have 14 days to keep standing floral arrangements before they will be removed and discarded.

Any and all glass is strictly prohibited.
