Hope Farmers Market For May 16th

The Hope Farmers Market on May 16th had a good turnout of vendors and customers.   There were a couple of new vendors – the VC Farm (husband and wife’s initials) from Rosston with some nice summer squashe and Ramsey Silvey set up her own table at the market with baked goods. Civitan was hosting the Hospitality Table this week and had a table with posters displaying activities they had been doing such as St Patrick’s Day dance, the Jenn Swing Project and Civitan Convention Awards

Other vendors were Solomon Farms, the Silveys with radishes, lettuce, sourdough rolls, peanut brittle and other baked goods,  Salinas Farm, Fern Michaels with her friend pies, Carolyn’s Kitchen had cherries rolls as well this week, Roger Davis with Papa’s Honey and a sign up of what was to come, Joseph Barry had mint, banana bread and cookies. Poppy’s Pies was another option for fried pies. Arnold’s Farm had pickles and potatoes as well as jams.
