Editors note…the City of Hope does a “Tuesday Tidbit” each week spotlighting a city entity. This week it’s on the street department. We think they do a good job and wanted you to know about it!

The Street Department maintains the City’s 100 miles of public streets. This department consists of 6 full-time employees.
Responsibilities:
• Pothole patching
• Crack sealing
• Asphalt paving
• Street cleaning
• Culvert installation
• Stormwater drainage and maintenance
• Street construction projects
• Leaf removal
• Industrial Park Railroad
• Ditch maintenance
• Sidewalk repair/replacement
