Hope Evening Lions Install Officers, Name Lion of the Year

Baseball / Softball was the theme of the End-of-Year Banquet, Installation of Officers and naming of the Lion of the Year for the Hope Evening Lions Club. Noon Lions Club member, John Collier, started the program by asking everyone to put on the ball caps they’d been asked to bring and led the club in singing a rousing version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” He then installed the 2023-24 starting lineup (new officers) and compared each to a position on the ball field. Outgoing President, Erica Davlin, presented the Lion of the Year award to Judee Gunter. The Hope Evening Lions Club looks forward to a winning season in 2023-24 as we serve the residents of Hope and Hempstead County. We Serve
