One Dead, One Injured In Single Vehicle Accident In Lafayette County

One person died and one person was injured in a single vehicle accident Saturday evening around 7:15pm in Lafayette County.  A 2016 Kia Forte driven by 21 year old Darryl A. Randleson of Texarkana, Texas was traveling west on US 82 in Lafayette County when it left the roadway on the north side and struck a utility pole.  The vehicle then struck and embankment and overturned.  The driver and passenger were ejected.  The passenger, 18 year old Troyce Johnson, Jr. of Texarkana, Arkansas was taken to Oschner Medical Center in Shreveport and Randleson was killed and his body held at the Caddo Parrish Coroner’s Office.  The accident was investigated by Trooper Solomon Phifer of Troop G of the Arkansas State Police.
