Springs of Hillcrest welcomes new administrator

PRESCOTT – Tuesday’s community coffee, sponsored by the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, welcomed two new staffers at the Springs of Hillcrest.
Stephanie Driskill is the new administrator of the center, coming from the Hot Springs area, and Katelyn Smith is the new marketing director.
Driskill is from McGehess and has been working in Royal the last 16 years. She and her husband, Scott, have one son, Paxton, nine. She also worked at the Springs of John Barrows as administrator in Little Rock and before that the Springs of Park Avenue in Hot Springs, where she was in human resources.
The immediate goals, she said, is to raise the census. In addition, Hillcrest is now accepting volunteers, something that stopped when COVID hit. The residence is also doing outings again, with the men’s club recently going on a fishing trip, and plans in the work for a trip for the women’s club. Fundraisers are held occasionally to raise money for the resident’s activity fund.
Smith also works at Mine Creek in Nashville. She has a three-year-old daughter, Hensley. She says her job is to love on the residence, adding they’re all like her grandparents.
