Dr. Vic Ford to Present Program on Mushrooms

Want to learn about growing your own mushrooms and what mushrooms you might encounter around your garden? Join the Hempstead County Master Gardener crew for a great learning opportunity on July 18th from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center. Dr. Vic Ford, Hope resident and expert mycologist, will be talking on mushrooms. Dr. Ford is the current Associate Vice President for Ag & Natural Resources for the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service and he’s agreed to take time from his busy schedule to talk on one of his great loves-fungi.
