Emmet fireworks show Saturday

EMMET – Saturday, July 1, the Emmet Vision Association (EVA) will host its 2nd Annual July 4th Celebration.

There will be live music, food trucks,children’s slide, vendor booths, face painting and, of course, fireworks. First responders will receive a special gift.

In addition, there will be a contest for the most patriotic costume and a children’s patriotic parade with decorated bicycles and ATVs.

Visitors are reminded to bring lawn chairs and head coverings as it’s supposed to be hot. According to the schedule, the food will be available from 5 until dark, with live music from 6-9 p.m. The fireworks will be set off at sunset.
