Thomas turns himself in; bond set at $250,000
HOPE – Thursday July 20th at approximately 5:00 pm Christopher Thomas surrendered himself to Hempstead County Deputies and was taken into custody.
Hempstead County Sheriff’s Investigators have allegedly discovered other allegations of sexual abuse related to the 12-year-old victim along with allegations of sexual abuse of another female victim who is seven years old. Thomas, age 44, is facing another 10 counts of Rape, a Class Y Felony, and Internet Stalking of a Child, also a Class Y Felony.
Christopher Thomas 44, appeared before Circuit Judge Joe Short and his bond was set at $250,000, He is due back in Court in October.
Sheriff Singleton announced Wednesday his office was seeking Thomas after he was last seen fleeing from a vehicle on Richmond Road in Texarkana, Texas.
