Delight woman killed in crash

PIKE COUNTY – A Saturday evening collision on Highway 27 between Nashville and Murfreesboro killed a Pike County woman. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, Tracy Watts, 52, of Delight, was killed when a vehicle apparently turned in front of the motorcycle she was a passenger on.

State Police say a 2015 Toyota was southbound near the race track when it apparently turned into the path of a northbound 2022 Harley-Davidson driven by Rex Watts, 63, of Delight. The report said Watts attempted to avoid the collision, but in the process the Toyota struck the front of the motorcycle. Rex Watts was taken to CHI/Hot Springs. The unnamed driver of the Toyota was not injured. Trooper Tate N. Ledbetter investigated. The crash was reported at 6:09 pm.
