Hempstead County Law Enforcement Host National Night Out

The Hope Police hosted “National Night Out” August 1st at Fair Park.  The event is a community-police awareness raising event held across the U.S. on the first Tuesday in August.  The event is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts.  The event includes games, booths, fun activities, and food.
