More Around the Festival

There certainly was a lot to see around the Hope Watermelon Festival Saturday August 12th.  Some of the sights our roving camera took included an old favorite activity, “money in the haystack”.  The Beautiful Baby contest was still as popular as ever.  The kiddos enjoyed pony rides and the Arkansas Game & Fish aquarium.  The Rusty Wheels Antique Engine Club had an extensive exhibit of items around their complex in the northwestern edge of Fair Park.  And everyone enjoyed watching the martial arts demonstration…most of us wondered if WE could learn to break a board with our bare hands!
