Shop Building A Total Loss In Fire North of Ozan

A shop building was a complete loss after fire broke out Thursday (9-7) afternoon.  The building was at 6191 US 278 west about 4 miles from Ozan.  The damage was confined to the shop building.  Volunteer fire departments from Yancey, County Line, Ozan, and Washington responded as did Nashville.  Residents are reminded Hempstead County remains under a burn ban.
