NC Democratic party announces filing fees

The Prescott- Nevada County Democratic Committee (NCDC) announces opening for those who are interested in becoming a member and or running for office, forms will be available at the Nevada County Courthouse during November 6-14 each day starting at 12 noonThe Filing Period, and Filing Fees are as follows:
Nevada Co. Judge $925
Nev. Co. Sheriff $925
Nev. Co. Clerk $750
Nev. Co. Treasurer $750
Nev. Co. Assessor $750
Circuit Clerk $750
Justice of Peace $125
City Council $125
County Coroner $100
Prescott City Mayor $925
Prescott City Recorder $125
Constable $75

* All Filing Fees will remain the same for 2024-2024
November 6th -November 14, 2023
The Filing period potential candidate and members must be legal voters in Nevada County. Each candidate will complete a filing form upon filing. All filing fees must be confirmed with the Nevada County Clerk,, Tammie Rose, on or before noon Nov. 14, 2023.

The Democratic Primary is scheduled for March 5, 2024 and the General Election is Nov, 4, 2024.
