Fellows active in college
Janiya Fellows hails from Prescott, Arkansas, and completed her high school education at Prescott High School, where she consistently excelled academically, earning various prestigious honors. Currently a junior at the University of Arkansas, Janiya is pursuing a degree in social work. Her active involvement extends to a range of student organizations, including Trio SSS, NSLS, the Social Work Club, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Within these groups, she holds significant roles, including the title of Miss Carolyn F. Blakely Honors Program, Vice-President for the UAPB Chapter of Word of Faith Student Fellowship, and mentorship duties for the Emerging Scholars Leadership Institute. During the summer months, Janiya is employed at the Prescott Nevada County Library.
Ms. Fellows, who takes pride in her affiliation with STRADA Education Network and her status as a Golden Lion Scholar, is notable for maintaining an exceptional 4.0 GPA.
