Lions hold health fair

PRESCOTT – Members of the Prescott Lions Club hosted a health fair at First Baptist Church Saturday from 1-4 p.m.

Those attending could get their blood pressure and blood sugar checked, along with taking an HIV/Hep C test, for which they would receive $25 in gift certificates. There were information booths from the Department of Human Services, Pafford, Healthy Arkansas, Hamilton Haven, UAMS, SWAPDD, Workforce Arkansas and the Area Agency on Aging.

There was also plenty of swag given away by the vendors. The Lions Club held drawings for door prizes as well.
