Gary Gathright Speaks to Hope Lions

The Hope Lions Club heard from former member Gary Gathright on Monday November 20th.  Gathright (who is the son of long-time member Jack Gathright) is in competition to be a “guest conductor” for the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra in December.  The aim is to collect donations for each vote for Gathright.  Those who wish to vote can scan the code and vote for Gathright.  A link is also on Gathright’s Facebook page.

We think Gathright would be a great guest conductor !  We remember when he led the Hope Superband as Drum Major in 1989.
