Hope Lions Auction Set for Nov. 30th, Dec. 1st & 2nd

The 74th annual Hope Lions Club Christmas Auction is set for November 30th, December 1st and 2nd at Hope’s Fair Park Coliseum.  The auction raises money to purchase Christmas food baskets for needy families in Hempstead County.  Any excess money goes back into the community for the Lions’ local projects.

The auction will be held each evening at 6pm.  It should go to 9pm the first night, until about 10pm the second night, and until everything is sold on Saturday night.

In addition to the auction, the Evening Lions will staff a concession stand each evening with homemade favorites such as chicken & dumplins, chili, soup, and homemade desserts.

The public is invited to attend.
