Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Invites Everyone to the Upcoming Christmas Parade
The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the upcoming Christmas Parade that will be held Monday, December 4th, 2023 at 6:00pm with presenting sponsor Farmers Bank & Trust.
Chamber Executive Director Christy Burns stated, “It has been a blast planning and preparing for this year’s Christmas Parade! We have multiple exciting entries from bands, to antique cars, floats, queens, a special appearance from the Big Man in Red, and much more!” Thanks to Farmers Bank & Trust the entries will be judged and receive prizes for the Best Use of Lights, Most Festive, and Best Use of Theme!
The participants will begin line-up around 5:15pm at the Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home parking lot and the route will continue as follows:
Leave parking lot (1001 Main) and turn right on Main Street
Travel on Main towards downtown
Turn left on 2nd
Turn right on Elm
Turn right on Division
Turn right on Walnut and disband on the back lot of First Baptist Church (corner of 3rd and Walnut.)
Make sure you visit downtown after the parade for the annual Christmas tree lighting at the Depot and Cookies with Santa sponsored by Junior Auxiliary of Hope at the outdoor area of Tailgaters, there may even be some special guests joining him this year.
Please join us as we celebrate “A Storybook Christmas” with a parade full of Christmas Cheer!
