Nevada County Farm Recognized as Arkansas Century Farm
The Arkansas Century Farm program recognizes Arkansas farms of 10 acres or more owned by the same family for at least 100 years. The Arkansas Department of Agriculture began the Century Farm program in 2012 to highlight the contributions of these families to the agriculture industry as well as their overall contributions to our state.
White’s Chapel Farm, approximately 1480 acres owned by Dr. Neil Carmony DDS, was recognized as an Arkansas Century Farm by Arkansas Dept. of Agriculture. It has been continually owned by his family since 1868 and is now solely owned by Dr. Carmony. It is located in Nevada County near Bodcaw, AR . The ceremony was held at the Arkansas State Capitol by Governor Sarah Sanders and Senator Tom Cotton. Attending from the family is Neil Carmony & wife Felicia, daughter Karlee Carmony and son Whitten Carmony.
