Blevins Homecoming

Blevins held its Homecoming last Thursday (12-7) with a lot of excitement from the students. Pictured are the Homecoming Queen and her escort (her brother).

Blevins also had four basketball games on Monday against Foulke with the boys losing their games and the girls winning theirs.

The girls’ senior high played Foulke JV and won 56-53. Takeyla Williamson made 41 points and Amya Phillips made 14 rebounds. For the junior high game the girls won 30-29. Ketana Williams scored 23 points and made a shot within the last 5 seconds that put Blevins in the lead.

There will be three games with Kirby tonight. Kirby’s teams are quite good so the games tonight are expected to be exciting.
