Hope Downtown Network

The Hope Downtown Network met in the Tailgaters Annex on Thursday (1-18). After approval of the minutes from the previous meeting Steve Harris talked about having met with arborists for planting trees downtown and said more meetings were planned.

Planters and tables for the pocket park are being ordered and they are trying to get them in so they can be placed in the spring.

Planning has started for the “Taste of Hope”  in October.

Beckie Moore presented information about two grants she is currently writing for the Downtown Network.

There was discussion about how to proceed with Train Day/Trade Day.

Christy Burns reported about what will be happening downtown for the Solar Eclipse.

There was a a report given by Toby Neff on the progress of getting the Hope Downtown Network Building ready to be used.
