“Around the Town” Publisher Visits Hope, Dines at Pedro’s Hornet Hut in Blevins

If you have a visiting dignitary, you want to take them out for a good, unique local experience and that’s what happened Monday when David Stallings, publisher of the “Around the Town” newspaper in Nacogdoches, Texas.  David, who is a friend, was coming through and asked if we wanted to go to lunch.  Since we had plans to go to Pedro’s Hornet Hut in downtown Blevins and eat lunch with Mike Stephens, we asked if David would like to go with us.  He did and David enjoyed his first trip to Blevins.  He pronounced the food good at Predo’s!  We greatly enjoyed having David visit and hope he stops in again.  Next time we’ve promised him lunch at Tailgater’s!  Oh, and maybe the highlight of lunch was Mike Stephens telling us about a bank robbery years ago at the Bank of Blevins!
