PRESCOTT – Schools from across the state were in town Friday for the annual FFA Community Development Event.
The Nevada County Fairgrounds was packed with buses from districts across Arkansas as more than 1,000 students came to participate in the competition, which included: wildlife, veterinary science, poultry, land, forestry, agri economy, ag mechanics and ag business. While most of the events were at the fairgrounds, land and forestry was at the industrial park and the animal courses were at Prescott High School.
The Farm Bureau provided snacks and drinks for the hospitality room, while Farm Credit did the cooking for lunch.
