Crash near Guernsey claims two

GUERNSEY –A Monday morning crash claimed the lives of two Hempstead County residents. According to the preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police, Curtis Adams, 59, and Donna Adams, 56, with rural Fulton addresses, perished.

The State Police in the report said a 2021 GMC driven by Curtis Adams was traveling west on Hempstead County Road 2 and was negotiating a right-hand curve when it exited the roadway, entered the north ditch, striking a tree. The crash occurred at 8:49 am near the intersection with CR 1002. Trooper Trevor W. Drew was the investigating officer.
