Blevins School Board

The Blevins School Board met on Monday (4-8). The meeting started with a call to order , a prayer, the pledge of allegiance, and the approval of the financial report. The board approved the purchase of a new school bus at $137,000, the purchase of up to 40 new desktop computers, and a retention bonus for employees.

There was a motion to accept the resignation of Miss Mormon effective March 30th and of Tomario Williamson immediately. These motions passed. Motions were made to hire Jeffrey Dickson for temporary yard maintenance and to hire Brittany Nabors as Tech Director.  A motion was made to accept the resignation of Deanne Davis as principal effective on June 30th. These motions passed. The 2024-2025 contracts were approved.

The prom will be held on April 19th. Senior Graduation will be May 11th at Hempstead Hall.
