Fireworks show on tap for July 4

PRESCOTT – Get ready for the City of Prescott’s Independence Day Celebration.

On July 4, the City of Prescott, with the help of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, will be putting on a fireworks show at the Johnson Sports Complex.

Visitors will gather at Cummings Stadium where there will be music and food trucks. The fireworks will be shot off from the baseball field.

Rowe Stayton, with the Prescott Rotary Club, said club members will be at both stadium gates collecting canned goods and non-perishables to be donated to the local food pantry. However, there is no charge to enter.
