Fun day for children at Curry’s
PRESCOTT – With summer under way, it was time for Curry’s Community Outreach to host another fun day.
This was done Wednesday afternoon from 4-7 p.m. The afternoon began with youngsters chowing down on hot dogs, chips, cookies, flavored pickles and drinks. While they waited for the game truck to be set up they played Bingo, cornhole and a large version of Connect 4. Door prizes were also given to the children, who picked what they wanted based on their age.
The truck opened at 5 o’clock and was quickly filled with children wanting to play different games. The truck, operated by Level 14 Entertainment of Texarkana, has game systems such as PS4, XBOX and Switch. Children could choose from sports games, wrestling, basketball, football, Minecraft, Mario Cart and dance. All spaces were taken with the children having to be rotated out so everyone got a chance to play.
“I like to see children having fun,” Ivory Curry said about why he does this.
