Mr. Kenneth Dewaine Haynes was born in Sacramento, California on February 23, 1943. He passed away on July 14, 2024, having lived on this earth for 29,700 days.

Kenneth was born to Calvin Drew Haynes and Sylvia Viola Haynes(McWatters). He grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated from Lawton High School. In high school, he began working for Coca-Cola before enlisting in the army where he served as a photo specialist. After he returned home from Korea, he continued working for Coca-Cola. On August 1st, 1969 he married Judy Pruet and remained married until his death. He worked for Coca-Cola for nearly 48 years in various positions in Duncan, Lawton, and Clinton, Oklahoma.

Kenneth and his family were longtime members at the Prairie Hill church of Christ where he served at various times as a deacon and elder and recently became members at the Lakehoma church of Christ.

His favorite place to be was on the golf course with friends and family from work and church. He loved spending time with his grandkids, watching Texas Rangers baseball and Oklahoma football.  Kenneth was always quick with a joke and a quip, and filled any room with laughter and fun. He was kind and friendly unless you said the said word “Pepsi” which was a bad word in his presence.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Haynes.

His survivors include his wife, Judy Haynes of Yukon Oklahoma, his daughter Kary Myers and husband Brad, his son Barry Haynes and wife Linda of Hope Arkansas, 5 grandchildren, Kade Myers and his wife Ally, Maggie Smith and her husband Chandler, Sage Myers, Calvin Haynes, and Kacy Myers.

A visitation and viewing will be held at Twin Creek Funeral Home in Mustang, OK on Tuesday, July 16 from 1 PM to 8 PM with the family being present from 5 PM to 7 PM. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 17th at 10 AM at the Lakehoma church of Christ in Mustang, OK with Mario Pineda and Barry Haynes presiding.
