Prescott Chamber Coffee Hosted by International Students Exchange

The Prescott/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee on Tuesday (8-6) was hosted by International Students Exchange.. Arnetta Bradford spoke about what was required to be a host and the benefits of being one. She told about what the students learned and the cultural exchange which takes place. Students have learned fishing, lawn mowing and other new skills.
Bradford talked about the simplicity of what she learned being a host. One student she hosted came from Spain and she learned that they eat their big meal of the day for breakfast and a light meal in the evening. Bradford has hosted a total of 12 kids herself from a variety of places including Indonesia, Mexico, and Spain.
The age of the kids are 15 to 18. Bradford said the organization would like to place four students in Prescott and the profiles of four potential ones were talked about. Two are from Italy, one from France and another from Switzerland.
