Prescott thumps Crossett Friday night

CROSSETT – The Prescott Curley Wolves opened the 2024 football season on the road with a 53-10 win over Crossett. Prescott took the lead early on a 21-yard run by K.J. Page at the 11:23 mark. Crossett responded later with a 34-yard field goal. The Curley Wolves were not through scoring in the first quarter as Page scored again on a nine-yard run. The Prescott defense got on the scoreboard as Dacari Prater took an interception 80 yards for the third touchdown of the quarter.

Prescott racked up another three touchdowns in the second quarter. Prater connected on a 59-yard pass to White at the 10:01 mark, followed by a three-yard run by Marco Brownlee and a 23-yard pass from Prater to Spencer Hubbard. Crossett’s Braylon Howell scored his team’s last points with a 67-yard run.

Prescott added a touchdown in the third quarter on a nine-yard run by K.J. Page and another touchdown in the fourth on a nine-yard pass from Dalton Stockton to Owen Glass.

The Curley Wolves amassed 463 total yards, compared to 167 yards for Crossett.
