Curley Wolves remain undefeated

After falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter, the Prescott Curley Wolves stormed back for a 31-22 win over Salem in Thursday night high school football action.

Salem took an early lead scoring touchdowns on a 13-yard run and 6-yard pass in the opening quarter. Prescott responded with a 40-yard pass play of Decari Prater to Dewayne White and a 30-yard field goal by Miguel Rivera, while Salem added a 4-yard run and a two-point conversion to lead 22-10 going into halftime.

The second half belonged to the Curley Wolves. Decari Prater added a touchdown on a 4-yard run to draw Prescott to a 22-17 deficit after three quarters.

Short runs on quick drives propelled the Curley Wolves late in the 4th quarter; Decari Prater on a 2-yard run, and with a minute left Mario Brownlee on a one-yard carry.

Prescott improves to 2-0 and recorded 117 yards rushing and 171 yards passing for a total of 288 yards.
