“Run for the Son” Fundraiser Set for Oct. 5th at Klipsch Museum Visitor Center

The Victory Riders of Texarkana will hold a fundraiser for the Christian Motorcycle Association’s “Run for the Son” October 5th from 1pm to 4pm at the Klipsch Museum Visitor Center at 403 West Division in Hope.  The event will include the opportunity to donate for the chance to win a picnic table.  The Redemption Riders of Hope will have hot dogs, chips, and drinks for sale and all proceeds go to the “Run for the Son”.

There will be tours of the Klipsch Museum Visitor Center showcasing several of Paul Klipsch’s Heritage speakers including his original 1950’s Klipschorn and his last design, the Jubilee.  There is also a video tour of the Klipsch Museum of Audio History led by curator Jim Hunter.  Donations to the Klipsch Museum go into the drawing for a pair of Klipsch ProMedia Bluetooth computer speakers.

There will be coloring books for the kids as well as science of sound experiments and making musical instruments.

There will be a concert on the “Tin Shed #2” Stage featuring the “Knights of the Son with Frank and Keith Ross”, the Living Proof Band, Lauren Tucker, Dee Hallisey, and Jennifer Taylor.
