Hope’s local utility, Hope Water & Light, hosted the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday (10-9) in honor of “Public Power Week”. Hope Water & Light is municipally owned. In addition to water and electric utilities, Hope Water & Light now offers broadband services as well.
Hope Water & Light’s coffee is always well attended as the utility is known for plenty of good food and fellowship.
Hope is very fortunate to have a municipally owned utility with a public office where the public and pay their bills in person and also discuss their needs with a real, live person!
