Prescott School Board meets
PRESCOTT – The Prescott School Board met Thursday (11-14). On the agenda were the election of board officers and introduction of new staff followed by 3 expulsion hearings. The hearings took up much of the meeting time. Mrs. Angie Bryant gave a data report and there was an annual equity compliance report.
Three purchase orders were approved. Two were approved to replace items lost in the Elementary school fire. The first was for $23,639.27 and the second was $42, 922.50. These were for food service. The third item purchased is for professional learning and cost $31,500. This was covered by a grant.
There was also a petition for the transfer of students which was approved. The district gained one student and lost one. The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
The superintendent’s reported on enrollment and financials was given. There was an executive session with no action taken.
