T.J. Fackler Needs Your Plastic Sacks!

Hope Lion T.J. Fackler told the club Monday (11-25) about a local effort to collect plastic sacks such as those used at the grocery store and dollar store.  Fackler said his wife and others are making “rag rugs” out of the sacks and sending them to people in North Carolina who are still living in tents after the devastating floods earlier this year.  The rugs will help keep the cold from coming in off the ground for these folks, many of whom lost their homes to the floods.  Anyone who would like to donate sacks may bring them to the Lions Club meeting Moday at noon at the Amigo Juan meeting room.  You may also give sacks to any Hope Lion or bring them to this year’s Lions Club Christmas Auction December 5th through 7th.
